Motion text

That this House is becoming increasingly frustrated by the continued failure of Her Majesty's Government to offer adequate and just compensation to the veterans of British nuclear tests, their widows and families; is also becoming increasingly impatient that the publication of the long-awaited report by the National Radiological Protection Board into the effects of exposure to radiation at these tests has once again been delayed; is growing increasingly sceptical about the real reasons for the chain of delays and excuses; notes with both regret and anger that these delays mean that there are fewer and fewer veterans and more and more widows; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to give these ex-servicemen and their families the justice that they so deservedly seek.
