Motion text

That this House recognises with disgust the behaviour of the Churchill family and the Chartwell Trust who by stressing the overseas interest in the documents to maximise the price exploited the incompetence and lack of judgement of the Heritage Memorial Fund; believes that such greed was not surprising but feels that the contempt for the tens of thousands who were left to die in poverty after their loved ones died for this country is beyond belief; and calls for a full and public inquiry into this matter.
