Motion text

That this House recognises that medical students face special cirucmstances; is deeply concerned that medical students face increasing debt, stress and anxiety due to financial difficulties; calls upon Her Majesty's Government to recognise the valuable contribution of medical students to the future quality of the National Health Service; and further calls upon Her Majesty's Government to make greater financial provision for students undertaking medical courses, and permit such students to borrow larger amounts from the Student Loans Company.
