Motion text

That this House welcomes the arrival in the United Kingdom of Mrs Kazimiera Prunskiene, Prime Minister of Lithuania; affirms that this country has never recognised the annexation of the Baltic States by the Soviet Union; believes that the aspirations of Lithuanians for peace and freedom strike sympathetic chords in the hearts of the British people; and calls on the British Prime Minister and Cabinet to respond accordingly.
