That this House welcomes the moves made by UNITA towards a peaceful solution to the current hostilities; realises that a lasting peace involving free and fair elections is now a possibility; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to offer all support to the peace process, and to use its influence to assist in the current pressure for direct talks from the Council of Twelve in the EEC.
