That this House notes the unanimous decision of East Lothian District Council to call for the dismissal of the Honourable Member for Stirling as Scottish Health Minister in view of his responsibility for the crisis in the National Health Service in Lothian; regards it as particularly significant that the four Tory members of the council supported the motion; and calls on the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State for Scotland to act on this constructive and helpful proposal.
