Motion text

That this House congratulates Barnsley's Crime Prevention Partnership for its work in strengthening the social fabric of the borough and helping to rebuild communities devastated by economic deprivation; and in particular pays tribute to those who have been honoured with community awards for their contribution to fighting crime and creating a safer environment like Danny Gillespie, of Grimethorpe Neighbourhood Watch, teenagers from Worsborough Common and Kendray for the work they have done with young people; the Green Devils from Kendray for enhancing the locality and making it safer for elderly residents, Wilthorpe over 65's for work with the elderly, and Mrs Ethel Swallow for her work with the Luncheon Club.
