That this House expresses its grave concern at the announcement of 1,500 job losses at the Ford Halewood plant; calls on the management of the Ford Motor Company to reconsider this decision; and further urges the company to enter into early talks with local authorities, trade unions and local honourable Members with a view to resolving any problems which may have led to this decision.
