Original motion text

That this House congratulates the Government in ensuring that the application for extradition by the Spanish judicial authorities of General Pinochet is being properly dealt with in accordance with international law; and recalls the crimes and atrocities, including the torture and murder of thousands of Chilean civilians which he instigated as dictator of Chile.
