Motion text

That this house congratulates the honourable Member for Foyle and the Right honourable Member for Upper Bann on their richly deserved award of the Noble Peace Prize; pays tribute also to all other Right honourable and honourable Members of this House who have contributed to the cause of peace in Northern Ireland, and to all those other people, not least the general population North and South of the border, who have furthered and are furthering that cause; and hopes that they may also be rewarded with a lasting settlement, which can set an example to other divided communities in the world.
