Motion text

That this House congratulates the National Pensioners' Convention on their highly successful rally and lobby of Parliament on 26th March; looks forward to an early report and proposals arising from the Government's pensions review; and urges that, in addition to a significant improvement in the basic state pension, the report's proposals will include a major improvement in the over-80s, non-means tested addition, and the extension of such addition to the over 75s.
