Motion text

That this House welcomes the Government's proposed regulation which will require trustees of pension funds to make a statement on the ethical and environmental principles according to which investments are made; welcomes the democratic principle behind the regulation which will make trustees more accountable to their members; and urges advisers to provide trustees more accountable to their members; and urges advisers to provide trustees with acceptable ways to include socially responsible considerations in their investment.
