Motion text

That this House welcomes the Government's initiative to introduce, for the first time, parental and family leave; believes that this will help families and improve productivity through family-friendly employment policies; and calls on the Government to examine ways in which those on low incomes can be helped to afford to take the opportunity for better parenting which this right confers.
