Motion text

That this House warmly welcomes the news that the Ministry of Defence has approved the procurement of Type 45 destroyers, two to be built in Glasgow by BAe and one by Vosper Thorneycroft; and notes that this is excellent news for the workforces, and in the case of Glasgow will provide much-needed security of work while they await the outcome of the Ro-Ro contract.
