Original motion text

That this House notes that the Russian President Vladimir Putin is visiting Britain for the Russia 2000 Exposition; and calls on him to support a ceasefire in Chechnya, the unfettered access of independent observers and humanitarian assistance and a political dialogue to conclude a lasting peace for the people of Chechnya.
