Motion text

That this House is deeply concerned that the World Bank intends to support the Qinghai component of the China Western Poverty Reduction Project without releasing the findings of the Independent Inspection Panel's report; notes that this project will resettle 58,000 Chinese farmers to a Tibetan and Mongolian autonomous county of Qinghai province, threatening the region's cultural, social and economic rights; calls on the World Bank to release its report; and further calls on the United Kingdom Government to instruct its Executive Director to vote against this project.
