Motion text

That this House notes with concern that in the United Kingdom 250,000 people have asphasia, the loss of the use of language as a result of stroke of head injury; calls for much greater recognition of the condition; urges the Government to call for more information on asphasia, particularly the financial implications of the lack of recognition and therefore a lack of treatment and support; and urges the Government fully to investigate methods by which this can be redressed.
