That this House recognises the serious issue of financial hardship affecting university students and the concern over rising levels of graduate debt; commends the University of London Union for its campaign in highlighting these issues on behalf of students in London; and calls on all parties to give higher education a prominent place in their manifestos, including a commitment ruling out the imposition of further 'top-up fees' on students.
