Motion text

That this House opposes the practice of door-to-door selling by privatised energy companies; seeks recognition from energy companies that such sales methods can often cause stress and inconvenience, and in some cases can lead to the customer being misled, intimidated and pressurised into switching their supplier; and seeks assurances from energy companies that they will desist from this practice in future.
