Motion text

That this House notes with concern the recent conviction of the nanny Kelly Lawrence for the assault on the children in her care; notes that nannies are not currently subject to registration and regulation; further notes that this lack of registration means that the working families tax credit is unavailable to pay nannies; and believes that nannies should be subject to registration and regulation immediately.
