Motion text

That this House welcomes the extra money for public services, but recognises that without addressing the severe lack of affordable housing in large parts of the country it will be difficult to recruit staff and achieve many of the target outputs the Government expects to see from the extra investment announced in the Budget; and believes that the public will not see appreciable improvements to public services until there is more affordable housing available for public service employees.
