Motion text

That this House sends its condolences to the families of seven construction workers killed in one week during January; expresses its deep concern that safety in the construction industry is still not yet a high enough priority; and calls on the Government to give the Health and Safety Executive the resources it needs, especially in construction, to field the inspectors necessary to enforce health and safety laws and advise employers on good practice.
