Motion text

That this House recognises the contribution which engineering makes to all parts of the UK's economy and particularly in the South West where it provides employment for more than 100,000 people; supports the profession's moves to ensure that engineering remains a central driver for prosperity; and urges the Government to protect and promote professional engineering in the South West and throughout the UK.
