Motion text

That this House welcomes the Government's proposals to enhance the occupational pension rights of former coal miners sacked during the 1984-85 strike and who were not reinstated or re-employed again in the coal industry; and believes that this will help to address the injustices inflicted on mining communities by the Thatcher government.
