Motion text

That this House offers its warmest congratulations on today's historic flight by Concorde following the tragic accident in France a year ago; congratulates the two pilots, British Airways' Captain Mike Bannister, and CAA Chief Test Pilot Captain Jock Reid; also congratulates Airbus UK, on whose behalf this verification flight was undertaken; salutes the dedication of engineers and the technology which have enabled this flight and which will ensure the future of this unique Anglo-French aircraft; and looks forward to the successful resumption of normal Concorde services by both British Airways and Air France.
