Motion text

That this House notes that people who served in the armed forces during the years 1949 to 1975 were unable to join a pension scheme; further notes that those affected are facing reduced pensions as a result; recognises the debt owed to those who served their country in time of war and during peace time; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to take steps to compensate pensioners who are deprived of full pensions as a result of service in the armed forces.
