Motion text

That this House supports CancerBACUP's Freedom from Pain campaign; recognises that cancer does not have to be synonymous with pain; further recognises that the World Health Organisation states that cancer pain can and must be treated; believes that every patient should have access to high quality, accurate, unbiased information about their illness and its treatment, as recommended by the NHS Cancer Information Strategy; and urges all honourable Members to sign the Freedom from Pain Charter.
