Motion text

That this House notes that when a referendum was given to the Scottish people on devolution, the projected cost of the Scottish Parliament was ú40 million; is shocked that six years later the cost is heading towards ú400 million; and demands that Her Majesty's Government provides a factual, not fictional, projected cost of regional assemblies to electors in regions facing a referendum.
