That this House notes with revulsion the statement made by the honourable Member for Hayes and Harlington praising the IRA; expresses astonishment that any honourable Member of this House should give support or comfort to the murderers of fellow citizens; affirms that violence can never be justified in support of political ends in a democracy; and hopes that on reflection the honourable Member will withdraw his words.
