Motion text

That this House notes the announcement on 5th February from the German Federal Employment Office of the non-adjusted unemployment statistics for January, which show that unemployment has risen by 398,000, making the total number of unemployed 4.62 million; further notes that this takes the unemployment rate to 11.1 per cent.; and believes this shows, clearly and unequivocally, that the euro is not working for Germany.
