That this House welcomes the Everyman Action Against Male Cancer campaign taking place in June for raising awareness of cancer among men; congratulates the Institute of Cancer Research for organising this event; recognises that prostate and testicular cancers together afflict over 29,000 men on average each year and kill nearly 10,000 men each year; further recognises the good work done in raising awareness of prostate and testicular cancer; and congratulates those helping Everyman achieve its target of raising half a million pounds, including volunteers who will be taking part in sponsored parachute jumps during the month,those attending a ball at Lords Cricket Ground on 4th June and donors who will be giving generously at many other events throughout the month.
