Motion text

That this House welcomes FROG (For the Relief of Glaucoma) Week 2004 taking place from 7th until 13th June; commends the International Glaucoma Association for organising the series of events; recognises that glaucoma is the primary cause for 12 per cent. of those registered as blind; further recognises that the majority of new glaucoma patients arise through referrals from optometrists, whose training equips them to recognise the early signs of the disease; and congratulates all those taking part in the events.
