Motion text

That this House congratulates South Africa on winning the campaign to host the 2010 World Cup; reconises the historic significance of the FIFA World Cup going to an African nation for the first time; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government and the United Kingdom's football authorities to extend the hand of football friendship in the build-up to 2010.
