Motion text

That this House sends best wishes to Sven-Goran Eriksson and the England team for a successful campaign in Euro 2004; reminds all travelling fans that they should conduct themselves in a manner which does not bring shame upon the country or the game; points out to UEFA that the Football Association, the Home Office and the police have taken unprecedented steps to deal with that small minority of English fans who are potential troublemakers; and calls upon UEFA to be even-handed in their approach and not attempt to single out England for special treatment should any trouble occur.
