Motion text

That this House condemns the Zimbabwean Government for its action in deporting the distinguished Daily Telegraph sports journalist Mr Mihir Bose from Zimbabwe; notes that Mr Bose was there to report on the Zimbabwe/Sri Lanka cricket match; further notes that no support was offered to Mr Bose by the Zimbabwean Cricket Union (ZCU); reiterates the view that ZANU PF infiltration of the ZCU makes it even more urgent for the tour of Zimbabwe by the England cricket team and the visit of Zimbabwe to England for the ICC matches in September to be called off.
