Motion text

That this House congratulates the individuals and organisations from across the UK who came together to form the Victims of Animal Rights Extremism, launched in Parliament in April 2004 to provide mutual support and to highlight the vicious tactics used by animal rights extremists; deplores the targeting of members of the public and honourable Members by animal extremists; and calls on the Government to deal with the problem by introducing new and effective legislation as a matter of urgency.
