That this House supports the World Cancer Research Fund's first ever cancer prevention week and its goals further to increase public awareness of cancer prevention through a healthy diet and lifestyle throuhout the UK as well as raising vital research funds; notes that there are over 200 types of cancer which all start in the same way with abnormal cells continually dividing resulting in a lump; also notes that two in five people will be affected by cancer at some stage in their lives and 30 per cent. to 40 per cent. of all cancers are directly linked to our diets and our lifestyles; and calls on the Government to recognise that cancer prevention strategies should lie at the heart of any sensible national health policy.
