Motion text

That this House takes note of the delayed publication of the Government's strategy for combined heat and power (CHP); strongly encourages the Government to stimulate the CHP market by promotion of CHP in the Renewables Obligation and by ensuring that the EU Emissions Trading Scheme actively promotes CHP; and urges clear action from the Government in order to achieve its CHP target of 8 Gwe by 2010, in particularly by firstly holding a meeting with industry to agree the way forward.
