Motion text

That this House welcomes the Playtex Moonwalk 2004, which on 15th May sees thousands of women and men walking a half or full-marathon around London, starting and finishing in Hyde Park, wearing specially decorated underwear; congratulates last year's walkers, who raised ú3.8 million; notes that breast cancer, the disease of which they hope to raise awareness, has the highest incidence of any cancer, making up 15 per cent. of all cancer cases and killing nearly 11,000 women and men each year; believes that awareness events such as this are invaluable to educating the public; strongly congratulates all those who are organising and taking part in the Moonwalk; and wishes all participants every success in achieving their goal of raising even more money this year.
