Motion text

That this House urges the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to look again at the decision to discount the flat rate payment to farms on the English side of the Welsh borders within severely disadvantaged areas that are not unproductive moorland but productive farmland; and notes that the National Assembly for Wales financially recognised the borders' natural beauty maintained by farmers, further widening the financial differences between holdings on either side of the border.
