Motion text

That this House congratulates Premier Christian Radio on its campaign to support workers who wish to observe the major Christian festivals of Christmas and Easter; and calls on the Government to offer full support to individuals and trade unions who resist efforts by employers to coerce them into working on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday when they have expressed a desire to be free to worship and spend time with their families.
