Motion text

That this House notes that for the first time last year over half of the entrants to the nursing workforce were from overseas, and that the Government is aware that its own Code of Practice on ethical recruitment from developing countries has not been signed up to by all the agencies which the NHS uses to recruit nurses from overseas; and calls on the Government to ban the NHS from using recruitment agencies which have not signed up to its own Code of Practice.
