Motion text

That this House calls on the Government to address the problem of allergic asthma, particularly in children, by building on earlier multi-system studies which showed health improvement when house dust mite exposure in homes was reduced; further calls on the Government to integrate such research study into new guidelines for the management of asthma, give support for primary care initiatives and set housing standard guidelines to encourage a healthy indoor environment and lessen the burden of allergic disease on the NHS and patients.
