Motion text

That this House notes with sadness that the House Magazine diary and the UNICEF calendar are both among the many British publications that list Christian, Jewish and Islamic holy days but fail to list any Hindu festivals; believes that in a multi-cultural society national and international public bodies should properly reflect the diversity of modern Britain; and calls for the inclusion of Hindu festivals in all such publications.
