That this House joins the people of the Commonwealth of Australia in celebrating their national day; recognises the shared heritage and special relationships between the peoples of the United Kingdom and Australia; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to strengthen the close political, economic and cultural ties that continue to bind the nations together.
