Motion text

That this House notes with concern the continued delay in the implementation of legislation governing nuisance hedges; further notes that the legislation was passed by Parliament in November 2003 due in part to the tireless efforts of the honourable Member for Ealing North but that no date has been given for implementation; welcomes Part eight of the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003 which allows complaints to be made about nuisance hedges to local councils; and urges the Deputy Prime Minister to bring this legislation into effect.
