Motion text

That this House believes that the standard of football refereeing in this country has declined to such a low level that it reiterates the view that modern technology should be introduced as quickly as possible by the Football Association to adjudicate incidents on the playing field including the incessant cheating by the players, thereby by-passing referees as much as possible, so as to ensure that a fair and accurate result is achieved and not one determined by refereeing blunders; and looks forward to the day when referees can be dispensed with altogether.
