Motion text

That this House welcomes the visit to the British Parliament of Mr Fatos Nano, Prime Minister of Albania, and Mr Muhamet Kapllani, Foreign Minister of Albania; pays tribute to the rapid transformation to a multi-party democracy which is taking place in Albania; and expresses the sincere hope that Her Majesty's Government will not long delay the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

at end add 'after Albania has honoured the decision of the International Court, with interest from the date of that award, to pay damages to the United Kingdom for the mining of HMS 'Volage' and HMS 'Samaurez' with great loss of life to Royal Navy servicemen.'.
