That this House congratulates Ms Helen Sharman, a leading British scientist and member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, on her tremendous personal achievement in being chosen as the first Briton to go into space with the Anglo-Soviet Juno Space Mission in May 1991; believes that this mission symbolises peaceful scientific co-operation between nations; and wishes Helen Sharman and the Soviet spacecrew a successful mission and a safe return to earth.
