Motion text

That this House welcomes the Disability Rights Commission's campaign to keep disabled people in work, including those with long-term health conditions such as cancer, depression, diabetes and heart disease; notes that 3.4 million disabled people are already in work, with over half a million of them contributing to Britain's small businesses, and that a further million disabled people say they want to work; and urges the Government to publicise the Access to Work scheme to small employers, as the most recent research reveals that only 18 per cent. of small employers know about it.
